Biographical
Eleissa C. Lavelle is a mediator and arbitrator on the panel of JAMS, The Resolution Experts. Ms. Lavelle was awarded an L.L.M. Degree in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute, Pepperdine University Law School, Malibu, California and obtained her Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Arts Degrees from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah. She is an adjunct faculty member at the William S. Boyd School of Law, University of Nevada at Las Vegas, Nevada, where she currently teaches Negotiation and has taught Real Estate Finance for several semesters. Ms. Lavelle has enjoyed a transactional, trial and appellate practice for more than thirty-five years in the areas of construction, real estate, commercial law and estate and business succession planning.
